A local restaurant in my area has great Chinese food and one of the things on their menu is simply titled Beef w/ basil soup. It's a clear broth soup that has a lot of ginger in it served with noodles (I generally get rice noodles). I haven't been able to find much via the interwebz for a recipe. I'm fairly certain it's just broth with beef added, ginger and some basil but I'm hesitant to just throw it together and make something that will taste like crap. Is this a traditional recipe that somebody could point me to or is this something that my local restaurant has just thrown together?
