I was gifted a venison ham steak from a friend who had some leftover deer meat. I have never had a venison ham before, but I know that it's leaner than beef, and was instructed not to cook it for as long as I would a beef steak.
I was planning on grilling it, should I cook it at the same temp as a beef steak for a shorter amount of time? Any good recipes I should try?
