Cream Cheese Phyllo Fruit Cups

8 oz. cream cheese powdered sugar (amount depending on how sweet you want it) Frozen Phyllo cups vanilla extract fresh lemon zest berries

Before mixing up the cream cheesy goodness, put the phyllo cups on a cookie sheet and just pop them into the oven for about 5 minutes. This will just ensure they stay crispy.

Mix together the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. I would add in the sugar a little at a time and taste along the way (this shouldn’t be a problem for anyone). Once the sweetness is to your liking, take the phyllo cups out of the oven and pipe the cream cheese filling into each one. Because the cups are so small, it will end up being a little over a quarter sized amount into each one.

I washed and prepped berries that were in season – blackberries and strawberries. These would be good with any combination. I put a few ontop of each phyllo cup and zested some lemon over the top for a hint of freshness.

bon appetit
