Stan's Meatballs

Stan's Meatballs

(Makes about 60)

3 lbs of chopped beef/pork/veal mix

1 cup of grated parmigiana cheese

1 cup seasoned bread crumbs

2 eggs

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp Italian seasonings

1/2 tsp parsley flakes

couple shakes of red pepper flakes

Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl

Mix thoroughly

Form meatballs to 1 inch round balls

Let sit for at least 1 hour in fridge before cooking

Cooking method varies depending on your liking

-Crock pot (my preferred method as they are the tenderest) Make your favorite crock pot sauce and get it good and hot. Take meatballs out of the fridge for a bit before adding. Add meatballs to crock pot and cook for at least 1 hour.

-Oven baking (can be frozen for later use) Take out meatballs while the oven preheats to 350 Bake on a cookie sheet with a wire rack to allow drippings to fall for 20 min.

-Pan frying (I never did this) but if you want to just saute on med/low till cooked

-Microwave (Don't even think about it) probably would explode

bon appetit
