I've never provided an update so I hope it is alright. Anyway! I have such a busy life with all our kids and working, etc. so cooking something turned out to be too much right now so I decided to bake GF chocolate chip cookies and GF fudge brownies. They turned out awesome!!
My daughter and I delivered the goodies today and let me tell you! When we walked in, I could smell that we had delivered just in time! Someone broke out some good shit right before we arrived.
She invited us in and was so happy - she gave me a big hug. We sat and chatted for a few and got up and left.
I still want to make one of those awesome dishes you all suggested. We actually just found out another neighbor has cancer so I think we will make some goodies for them too. Its a good example for our kids and it's great to let our neighbors know people care.
Anyway, thanks for all the recipes! They will definitely come in handy for next time! :)
