Does anyone have a good recipe for the brown gravy in Loco Moco?

I visited Hawaii back and had some brown gravy that was absolutely the greatest thing I've ever had in my life in a meal that had spam rice and some other stuff, kind of like this. I was wondering if anyone had a recipe for a gravy like this, Thank you!
