I'm lazy. I also don't have THAT much time unfortunately. I tried to alleviate this by making overnight oats.
I had a mason jar. I put in 1/4 cup of steel cut oats, some grounded up flax, PB2, and 3/4ths soy milk. I stirred it around a fair amount and left it overnight in the fridge.
This morning I noticed the oats and milk were mostly separated but the oats were still soaked. It was pretty gritty and rough (or is that the consistency of them?). I guess I imagine it to taste similar to rolled oats? Does anyone know what I did wrong or a different method?
