Jack Lamb's Killer Eggnog

Since moving to town, I've heard off and on about a magical eggnog recipe that originally seemed mythical. People could tell me how delicious it was, but nobody seemed to remember its name or the exact recipe. Recently, my favorite local food mentor happened to mention it by name.

Thankfully, it is both simple and delicious! With a bit of research, I found the history of Jack Lamb's Killer Eggnog in the local paper's recipe exchange. After trying it, we're certain to have this again and again over the holidays!

Jack Lamb's Killer Eggnog

Ingredients:

• 2 quarts commercial eggnog
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons instant coffee
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1 to 1 1/2 cups dark rum or whiskey

Directions

1. Combine ingredients.
2. Chill.
