Spiced plums make a terrific and easy dessert that's perfect for a fall brunch. It's even better with a dark rich slice of gingerbread.
Recipe
Ingredients:

Eight ripe plums

1/4 cup orange juice

4 Tbsp. butter, melted

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. ground cloves
-
3 tsp. sugar

Whipped cream for topping
Directions
Preheat oven to 375F.
Cut the plums in half and remove pits.
Drizzle with orange juice and melter butter.
Sprinkle sugar, cinnamon, and cloves over the plums.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, depending on the size of the plums.
Remove from oven and baste with the juices. Serve warm with a topping of sweetened whipped cream.
