Really Good Salmon Burgers

Hey guys, I know that big beef burgers are the main thing this (and every) summer, but honestly, these salmon burgers are pretty darn good substitute.

Ingredients

  • 1 12 oz. salmon filet, skin-off and cut into small chunks

  • 1 egg

  • 2 pieces of bread, crust cut off

  • 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs, plain

  • 1/4 cup chives, cut thin

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 2 Tbs. butter

Directions

Combine all the the ingredients except the butter into a large bowl and using a spatula or your hands, make sure the ingredients are completely combined. Allow to sit for an hour or so.

Shape the meat into two patties.

Melt the butter in a warmed pan and when the froth dies down, fry the patties on both sides and when done, place on a roll with a good cheese, a little onion and some good tartar sauce.

(You can actually make these on a grill, as well.)

Serve immediately.
