Recipe for Pumpkin Spread
1 (15oz.) Can of Pumpkin Puree
1/2 Apple Cider (when in season) otherwise Apple
Juice
1/4 cup of dark sugar
11/2 teaspoons of Pumpkin Pie Spice. If you like to capture a dominant pumpkin spice flavor, I would suggest using more spice. Add all the ingredients in pan, heat and stir until thick. Remove from heat, and add 11/2 Tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. Cool and serve with biscuits or toast. Enjoy!!
