Hello! My mom is insistent on buying a cuisinart crock pot that can sear, steam etc. I was going to make carne guisada in it but my question is, can I cook it on high for 3 hours and expect it to come out tender? Usually on the stove it takes about 3 hours. Also, for those who have the cuisinart crock pot that can do all those things, can I deglaze my meat with a beer and expect it to cook out as it would on a stove? Thank you!
