Ingredients
- one banana (frozen or fresh)
- one big pear
- one apple
- 1 cup of vanilla yogurt
- 2 tbsp of chia seeds
- 2-3 tbsp of grounded flax seeds
If you wish, you can replace the chia seeds or flax seeds with 2 tbsp of oatmeal or some nuts of your choice. This will make your smoothie richer in nutrients, as nuts and oatmeal are also a good source of fiber and proteins.
Directions
1) Start with the yogurt and pour it into your blender jar. 2) Peel the apple and the pear, or wash them very throughly, roughly chop and put into the blender. 3) Peel the banana and break it into chunks and add to other ingredients in the blender. 4) Lastly, add the chia seeds and the flax seeds. 5) Process until smooth. You can serve this smoothie immediately or keep it in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
