Okay so the way this recipe sounds made me cringe a little - only because I normally hate sour cream. However, when I discovered it I wanted to test it out. I just finished baking it and it smells AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I'm waiting for my friends to come over, but I think they're going to love it. We all went apple picking this weekend, so I used some of the leftover apples to make the cake. The recipe calls for 3 cups of apples, so you know it has a strong apple flavor (which I love). Anyway, wanted to share it with you all too. I still don't like getting sour cream on food (I know, crazy) - but I'm reconsidering my stance on sour cream in baked goods!
