Hi y'all! My husband had jaw surgery yesterday and needs be on a liquid-only diet for the next 4 - 6 weeks. The surgeon said anything that will fit through a straw is acceptable, and to preferably offer him 4 - 6 smaller meals daily. I'm looking for recipe suggestions that are going to meet his nutritional needs for the next month or so. Smoothies and soups/broths seem to be the most common suggestions. I don't know if I should add anything to make them more nutrient dense, like powders, seeds, oils, etc. He isn't a very picky eater, but probably won't eat something like a veggie smoothie that looks green and smells like kale, lol.
bon appetit
