A delicious 10-ingredient fettuccine alfredo with some grilled chicken and steamed broccoli, enjoy.
Ingredients:
- 16 ounces fettuccine
- 12 ounces chicken, cooked and chopped
- 1 3/4 cups parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 cups broccoli, steamed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
- In large pot, bring water to a rolling boil and stir in 3 teaspoons salt.
- Add the fettuccine and stir occasionally.
- Once pasta is cooked, about 10 minutes, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Toss in the minced garlic and heavy cream and whisk together.
- Add parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and continue to whisk.
- Add the cooked pasta, cooked and chopped chicken, and steamed broccoli.
- Combine all ingredients and simmer for 3 minutes on low heat.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
