Chocolate Malt Brownies

Double the malt, double the deliciousness. If you're a fan of chocolate malt, you'll enjoy the chocolate malt in the batter and the malted milk balls too.

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate malt powder
  • 1 1/2 cups malted milk balls, cut in half
  • 11 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, chocolate malt powder, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Slice the malted milk balls in half and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter for 1 minute on low.
  4. Add the chocolate chips and whisk for 3 minutes.
  5. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
  6. Add the sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and whisk together.
  7. Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until smooth.
  8. Pour into a greased 13X9 baking dish and spread evenly.
  9. Sprinkle on malted milk balls.
  10. Bake for 350°F for 30-35 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Makes 12 big brownies, enjoy!
