Crockpot Brown Sugar Balsamic Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 2 lb pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic (crushed)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Directions

  1. Mix together the sage, salt, pepper, and garlic. Rub over tenderloin. Place 1/2 cup of water in slow cooker, place tenderloin in slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 hours

  2. In a small saucepan combine brown sugar, cornstarch, balsamic vinegar, water, and soy sauce. Heat over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened, approximately 5 minutes.

  3. Brush tenderloin with glaze 2 or 3 times during the last hour of cooking. For a more caramelized crust: remove from crockpot and place on aluminum foil lined baking sheet, glaze and set under broiler for 1 to 2 minutes until caramelized. Repeat two or three more times until desired crust is achieved.

  4. Serve with remaining glaze on side.

I love this recipe. Pic doesn't even do it justice http://ift.tt/1S9e1bT
