Enjoy this classic pork schnitzel with some roasted potatoes, and dinner will be ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
- 4 pork chops, pounded thin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 lemon, sliced
Directions:
- Place pork chops on cutting board or hard surface.
- Cover with plastic wrap and begin to pound out pork until 1/4” thick.
- In a small bowl, combine the flour, salt, and black pepper together.
- Each in a separate bowl, place the beaten eggs and breadcrumbs.
- Dredge the cutlets in flour, then egg, and finally, breadcrumbs.
- In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the cutlets and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Once golden brown, flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Garnish with lemon and enjoy!
