Classic Pork Schnitzel

Enjoy this classic pork schnitzel with some roasted potatoes, and dinner will be ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 4 pork chops, pounded thin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Directions:

  • Place pork chops on cutting board or hard surface.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and begin to pound out pork until 1/4” thick.
  • In a small bowl, combine the flour, salt, and black pepper together.
  • Each in a separate bowl, place the beaten eggs and breadcrumbs.
  • Dredge the cutlets in flour, then egg, and finally, breadcrumbs.
  • In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Add the cutlets and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Once golden brown, flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  • Garnish with lemon and enjoy!
