Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork Recipe- Try it with your favorite side, on a sandwich, or make nachos!
Ingredients:
- 3 pounds pork tenderloin
- 18 ounces barbecue sauce
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 3/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
- Chop onion into thin strips and mince garlic cloves. Set aside.
- In a small bowl make the spice rub by combining brown sugar, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, salt and black pepper.
- Generously rub the spice mixture over pork tenderloin.
- Add onions, garlic and chicken stock to slow cooker.
- Add pork tenderloin to slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 4 hours, or until you can easily separate the pork with a fork.
- Remove pork from slow cooker and shred with two forks.
- Add your favorite BBQ sauce and mix with pork.
- Serve pulled pork on its own, as a sandwich, or make nachos!
