Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork

Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork Recipe- Try it with your favorite side, on a sandwich, or make nachos!

Ingredients:

  • 3 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 18 ounces barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

  1. Chop onion into thin strips and mince garlic cloves. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl make the spice rub by combining brown sugar, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, salt and black pepper.
  3. Generously rub the spice mixture over pork tenderloin.
  4. Add onions, garlic and chicken stock to slow cooker.
  5. Add pork tenderloin to slow cooker.
  6. Cook on low for 4 hours, or until you can easily separate the pork with a fork.
  7. Remove pork from slow cooker and shred with two forks.
  8. Add your favorite BBQ sauce and mix with pork.
  9. Serve pulled pork on its own, as a sandwich, or make nachos!
