Just like the fair, pop this 10 minute kettle corn recipe for National Popcorn Day!
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
- In a large pot, on medium heat, pour in the vegetable oil.
- Toss in three popcorn kernels and wait until they pop.
- Once the oil is ready, pour in the popcorn kernels, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt.
- Combine all ingredients together and cover with lid.
- Begin shaking the pot until 75% the popcorn kernels have popped.
- Turn off the heat and continue to shake.
- Once the popping has stopped, remove the lid and enjoy!
