I have an obsession with the Italian butter cookies you can buy at pretty much any bakery (even in most grocery stores) and want to try making them myself. I've seen them called all sorts of names—sparklers, champagne cookies, butter cookies—but am really struggling to find a recipe that isn't just for your regular old butter cookie. These definitely have that almond taste to them.
