Hey there! I must continue the trend of releasing videos once two weeks cause apparently school isn't forgiving and I have to focus more on it. But meanwhile...
Potato pancakes! They are comfort food in many countries. Some eat them sweet, some eat them savoury. Here is a rather simple recipe you can do on daily basis.
INGREDIENTS
600g potatoes
2 tbsp corn flour
1 egg
onion
2 garlic cloves
salt
pepper
thyme
RECIPE:
1) Peel, clean and grate the potatoes. Use big holes on grater to make them not-shapeless.
2) Rub some salt into potatoes, wait 5 minutes, drain
3) Grate the onion, mash the garlic and add it all to potatoes along with flour, salt, pepper and thyme
4) Mix it thoroughly
5) Use spoon to measure enough dough and form a pancakey-shape on a pan.
6) Fry on high heat in generous amounts of oil
Serve with sour cream, mayonnaise, hot sauce or any kind of sauce you'd like to try. If you'd like to make them sweet, replace garlic, onion, pepper and thyme with a teaspoon of sugar.
Happy cooking!
