What are the different bases/sauces (e.g., tomato, yogurt, coconut milk) for Indian curries?

I have seen recipes with the following sauce bases: Tomato puree Yogurt Coconut milk Have you guys seen any others? An associated link with a recipe would be super helpful! I've eaten food that sometimes tasted as if it had a tamarind base and sometimes almond milk, but I'm not entirely sure.
