Anyone have a great thick/creamy tomato bisque/soup recipe? [request]

I'm on the hunt for the perfect copycat recipe - but the copycat is from a local restaurant so it is very very unlikely anyone here will know what I'm looking for!

It's a very very thick/creamy tomato soup/bisque used as appetizers with tiny little grilled cheese bites at this restaurant's weddings.

The soup is like a cross between a creamy tomato soup and a vodka sauce. Thick like jar vodka sauce before you cook it if that makes sense.

I'm not a fan of 'normal' tomato soup because of the texture I get in the back of my throat (I know, weird, but it feel scratchy) and I'm dying for something close to this recipe.
