I made a couple homemade pizzas for my fantasy football championship and they came out pretty damn good if I say so myself!
Feta, Spinach, Eggplant and Pepper stuffed crust pizza
Mozzarella, Pepperoni, and Pepper stuffed crust pizza
Sauce recipe
1 16oz can hunts tomato sauce 1 32oz can hunts diced tomato 1 half green pepper diced 1 half yellow onion diced 2 cloves garlic finely chopped 1 tbsp oregano 1 tbsp basil Pinch cinnamon
Combine all ingredients, bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Simmer for 1h30m.
Preheat oven to 400
Pizza dough- purchased bagged from local store. Let rise in room temperature for 2 hours. When ready, flour hands and surface. Stretch dough to desired size.
Lightly oil your cooking plate (I used a circular plate) Place pizza and apply sauce to desired thickness.
Dice up eggplant, green and red peppers, cut pepperoni and shred spinanch. Apply as wanted. Also apply feta and mozzarella as wanted.
Leave an inch worth of space around the outter layer of the dough for cheese. Roll the outside, tucking the cheese inside.
Place the pizza in the oven for 25-30 min or until the crust reaches a light golden crust.
Take out of oven, cut up and enjoy!
