I used to eat at an amazing hole in the wall Mexican restaurant in nyc. I think this is a really common "homemade" meal but I can't find a specific recipe online.
Forgive me if I seem really dumb - I am when it comes to food!
The restaurant had a kind of buffet counter where you could get a serving of roasted chicken with kidney beans and rice, plus a small salad.
What I want to know is what made up the super yummy red sauce they used over the chicken. I've seen "mexican cooking sauce" in the grocery store but I'd rather make it myself.
Now tell me how simple it is and how I should google better, haha.
