Matcha Coconut Latte Recipe

Really great tasting latte that uses coconut and Matcha green tea. It's a super healthy form of latte packed with a huge amount of antioxidants and vitamins. With warm coconut milk and a spoon on honey it has to be one of most delicious lattes I've had.

Makes 1 cup

Ingredients:

1/2 - 1 tsp of Premium Matcha

1/4 cup of hot water

1/4 cup of warm coconut milk

1 tsp of natural honey or sweetener of your choice (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1.

Take 1/2 tsp (or a full one if you like it strong) and put it into a mug or your choice.

Step 2.

Add a 1/4 cup of hot water to the powder and mix well. Use an electrical frother or Matcha whisk for best results.

Step 3.

Add the 1/4 cup of warm coconut milk and honey / sweetener (if you're using it) to the mug. Stir again until the honey is dissolved and you have a thin layer of froth on top.

Step 4.

Sit back and enjoy.

Tips:

For an even smoother latte, sift the Matcha beforehand. This helps eliminate any small lumps and therefore creates an even more balanced flavour.

If you like your latte slightly richer use full fat coconut milk, otherwise use light - it certainly works for us.
