There's a Thai place nearby that serves a dish using a very spicy, peppery, garlicky, dark, thin sauce served over steamed vegetables, thin sliced cabbage, and white rice.
I dream about this dish! and wish I could make it at home. while I probably cant recreate the exact taste of the sauce used, I was wondering if anyone had a recipe for something similar to that description. I'm challenged when it comes to getting accurate ingredient amounts.
