best home made pizza

For the dough you will need:

4 cups of flour 1 cup luke warm water 1 pack of dry yeast 1 table-spoon salt 1 tea-spoon sugar 2 table spoons olive oil

As first you need to mix pack of dry yeast with luke warm water and let it stand for about 3-5 min until it reaches creamy texture.

In mean time prepare your dry ingredients and mix them all together. When yeast did its magic add it to remaining ingredients and start mixing everything. I would really recommend using any of kitchen appliances for making a dough - you will need about 3 min on medium speed and then you can leave it for another 10 min on low-speed.

Once you have soft, non sticky dough you are ready to pack it and let it rest. Take it first out on any kitchen surface which you sprinkled with a bit of flour and just shape it into nice round ball. Grease any of your bowls with a bit of olive oil and place the dough in middle, "bad" side down. Use another couple drips and grease the top of dough so it can not dry out and crack while rising.

Cover it and let it rest on warm, non windy place for minimum of 2 hours (I had days where I took it out even after 4-5 hours and it was perfectly fine). My best practice is to put it in non heated oven, it stays nicely out of way and has peace to rise without anyone / anything disturbing it. Once its done it will double or even triple its size. Take it out of bowl and place it on floured surface again and then stretch it until your desired shape/size is reached. With some practice you can do it simply with your hands or you can help yourself with rolling-pin.

Put a parchment paper on your baking tray or use pizza stone and transfer rolled dough onto it. Now you are ready to prepare your pizza! Toppings you can select depending on your favorites, this time I used tomato sauce, corn, salami, olives, cheese, bacon and shortly before finish added freshly cut tomatoes. Don't forget to season everything with a bit of oregano, salt and pepper. Leave it in oven on 220°C for about 30-35 min, in last minutes you can put on grill function.

bon appetit
