I have a ton of steaks I want to marinate in beer but I don't know which beer to use! Which beers have you used for your steaks?

I don't really like beer except for a few sweet ones and one I had at a bar that had a really nutty aftertaste but didn't catch the name because we were all too drunk. This is going to be my first time making beer steaks so I'm not sure which beer to use. I'll probably buy a bunch of different beers and marinate them to see which one is nicer but what are your choices of beer for marinade?
