(request) Dill pickles. anyone have a good recipe for how to make proper, crunchy Dill pickles?

Here in Western Australia, it is impossible to find the fabulous Dill pickles that are in every deli in America. But I found a small company that makes beautiful homemade sauerkraut. They would like to add pickles to their products line if they can find a good recipe that solves the crunch problem.
