A long time ago I had a really good apple burger (I'll explain in a sec!) as a sampling from a gentleman who was planning on opening a restaurant. The restaurant never opened, and I've been longing for a similar burger ever since. I tried to recreate it, but am looking for some advice from someone who's got a flair for spices.
The burger was simple in construction. It just had bacon, cheddar, a spiced patty, an apple slice. Onions maybe? I can't quite remember.
Anyone have any experience with something like this?
