Ingredients 1 can of black beans 1 package of silken tofu Fresh garlic (minced) Fresh onion (minced) 1 jalapeno (minced) Olive oil Salt and Pepper to taste Cilantro and Lime as Garnish
My thought was to take 1 can of black beans and divide it into 2 portions. 1 for pureeing and the other for kept whole or smashed for texture.
The half that would be pureed would be lightened using the silken tofu and olive oil. I would then mix the remaining ingredients through gently as to not smash the black beans further, but still be able to distribute the raw onion, garlic, and jalapeno.
Thoughts or suggestions? Thinking about making it for a super bowl party where vegetarians may be present and I'm trying to hide the tofu from the meatatarians, while still being a meatarian myself.
bon appetit
