Enjoy a healthy and simple side dish for any meal. Not a fan of Brussels Sprouts until this recipe.
Ingredients: * 1 pound Brussels sprouts * 2 cloves garlic, minced * 1/3 cup onion, chopped * 1/4 cup parmesan cheese * 3 tablespoons olive oil * 2 tablespoons butter * 1 teaspoon black pepper * 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions: 1. Cut Brussels sprouts in half, lengthwise. 2. In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. 3. Add olive oil and reduce heat to medium-low. 4. Add minced garlic, chopped onions, Brussels sprouts, salt and pepper. Stir to combine. 5. Cook on medium-low for 20-25 minutes, stirring about every 5 minutes. 6. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over Brussels sprouts and stir. 7. Continue to cook on medium-low heat for 5 additional minutes. 8. Serve as a tasty side dish for dinner and enjoy.
