So my girlfriend is trying to recreate a recipe her mother used to make. The end result looks something like this.
What she remembers about the recipe is that it looked like above, and that her mother would let the dough rise several times before baking. It was pretty much an all-day affair.
I've found this recipe, which seems close, but has overnight rising rather than multiple steps.
Anyone got any ideas?
