How much does the zest of one large orange measure out to be?

I am going to be making an orange julius fudge recipe that I found on Pinterest, but in my experience the amount of zest yielded from one orange has varied greatly. I found one website that said one large orange should equal 2 tablespoons of zest, but that seems like a lot especially in relation to the other ingredients. Any help is very appreciated.
