[QUESTION] Dry rub recipe ingredient

Hello everyone I am currently making an American Dry Rub by The BBQ Pit Boys the recipe is as follows

  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Paprika
  • 4 tablespoons Coarse Salt
  • 3 tablespoons Coarse Pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Celery Seed
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

My question is can I proceed to make this without celery seeds/leaves? Will it have a large impact on my rub or not and I thank all answers in advance!
