My Favorite Comfort Food - Gourmet Ketchup Meatloaf

This Meatloaf is to die for! Makes 4-6 servings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 medium size sweet Vidalia onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup half-n-half
  • 4 Tbsp Gourmet Ketchup

Sauce

  • 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar (packed firm)
  • ½ cup Gourmet Ketchup

Directions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2. Sauté onions and garlic in butter until fully cooked- the onions should be fragrant and sheer
  • 3. In a large bowl, combine the beef, egg, onion, garlic, half-n-half, Gourmet Ketchup and bread crumbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste and form into a loaf. Place in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish/loaf pan.
  • 4. In a separate small bowl, combine the brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. Mix well and spread over the meatloaf. Reserve a small amount to top meatloaf after baking.
  • 5. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
