Ingredients:
- 16 ounces green beans, trimmed
- 4 ounces bacon
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
- Steam or boil the green beans and set aside.
- Cook bacon in a skillet and crumble, set aside.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil and add the chopped onions.
- Sauté for 7 minutes over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for 1 minute.
- Toss in the cooked green beans, crumbled bacon, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Continue to cook on low for 5 minutes, stirring often. Enjoy!
